IM BORED OF UNI
well… I’m bored of doing sport filming at uni anyway.
We get taught absolutely NOTHING in the actual sport broadcasting module,
I’m not learning any new skills, its not creative enough and its run very badly.
I may change too Experimental and music videos as I feel I will be able to learn more techniques that will help me in the long run, besides I want to start up my new production company SundownDigital.
YEAH. AND MERRY CHRISTMAS…

MrSuicideSheep is definitely my favourite youtube channel at the moment.
Every song he puts in lightens up any day and makes things good, extremely upbeat and such a wide range of electronic music.
Every time I listen to this guys latest update I find it being my favourite song, until the next one comes along. The song linked is the newest addition to the channel and i’ll be listening to it all night.
I want his iPod!

Found a new pool hall, always enjoy a good game of pool even if it is 5-1 to Matt at the moment..
2nd OB Done.
So, 2nd OB (outside broadcast) has finished.
This time it was filming a girls hockey game. I was the vision mixer and hockey is much more fast paced than football or rugby so cutting different camera’s together was a bitch! All in all though it went fairly well, and the day was good.
Shame we didn’t film the boys game, they looked very good and exciting to watch, the girls just made us all laugh at random points, although bucks went on to win 6-0. However the girls slower style meant it was a bit easier to cut shots together live, boys would of been a nightmare.
Very much looking forward to the next game, this time I’m chosen to be a main camera man, filming Bucks mens 1st football team which will be really good, first taste of proper football broadcasting. Then after that our 4th event should be a music venue which will be different! Looking forward to that one too.
Shattered now though, time to unwind with some fifa and Call of duty and scream at the tv haha.

well just Brad, and this is my tumblr page.
Random ramblings of a typical student will turn up here.
I'm a 2nd Year Film and TV Production student studying at Bucks New Uni, High Wycombe.
As well as a Freelance Director / Cameraman / Editor / Producer.
I have taken the Sports & Live events path way at the moment so that is what my course is really about and what my life is dominated by at the moment. I have to say it is very fun.
Enough about the course... some stuff about me,
I'm 19 years old. Soon to be 20 as of December.
Anything Creative interests me. I can spend endless amounts of times looking at new creative images and videos, so thats what this blog is mainly about. I love sport, which is great as my course is just filming it. I love being a leader when theres no pressure but hate it when there is a lot of pressure (unless it goes right)
I love music, any type to be honest, I know people say that but i can literally sit down and appreciate any kind of music however my favourites are anything electronic, Dubstep, Drum n Bass, Trance, Techno etc and Rock. I don't stick to one genre which is why Enter Shikari are my favourite band, they just are there own genre.
I HATE analysing feature films to the extent we talk about the colour of someones shoes and what the director thought about them. 1500 words on that. NO the director didn't think that much into it. That is where film and media teaching is bad i think, far to in depth in some areas and not enough in others.
I really want to start blogging regularly, might be interesting. But for now i'll leave you to it, if you've even read this far. Cheers. Brad x
